2022 "Split the Donations" Success!
We are so excited about the Split the Donations Fundraiser Success! The first annual charitable fundraiser hosted by Pena Commercial was on Saturday, July, 30, 2022! Pena Property Management, along with our sister companies JSP Commercial Solutions and EMVP Services, and a network of local Plano businesses, volunteered time, funds, and prizes to the event which made it the success that it was.
We are happy to announce that the event brought in $3,535! These funds were raised through entry fees, raffles, and generous donations. Since Pena Commercial “picked up the split,” Hope’s Door New Beginning Center and Second Chance SPCA will both receive a charitable donation of $3,535 to better the lives of the people and animals of our hometown of Plano, Texas.
Shanna Paul won a fine art portrait session from Park Hill Fine Art Portraits. She took home a portrait session package valued at $1500. Shanna and Park Hill helped us raise $150.
Heritage Ranch Golf and Country Club generously donated a round of golf for 4, including golf carts, to the silent auction. Brandon and Cami Nelson won with a winning bid $150.
Michelle Shelton snagged a new DV8 Medusa Bowling Ball from Chris Warren’s Pro Shop with her bid of $115. We’re sure her son will love it!
Christy Woods is now the proud owner of a new Storm Tropical Surge Bowling Ball custom drilled to her specifications from Bowling Medic Pro Shop. She won the bid for $90.
Angel Rivera helped us raise an astonishing $550! Angel was the winning bidder for a brand new bicycle sponsored by JSP Commercial Solutions in partnership with Preston Hollow Bicycles. Angel bought this for his wife and she will have three options to choose from.
Thank you to all the businesses that donated their services and products to our silent auction. Your generous donations added $1,055 to our fundraiser!
We are excited to announce that all 1,000 Raffle Tickets were sold at the event! The raffle raised $455 for the fundraiser.
EMVP Services sponsored $80 in gift cards to Love and War in Texas for the raffle. Jia Modern Chinese generously donated two $100 gift cards to our event. Anaya’s Seafood Scratch Kitchen-Plano, the newest location for Anaya’s, gave two $50 gift cards and one $25 gift card to support the local fundraiser. Salsa Tex Mex-Plano donated $50 in gift cards while Cafe Gecko Eastside generously gave one $50 gift card and one $25 gift card to their newest location in Downtown Plano. Akari Japanese Restaurant and Rugby House Pub both gave $50 gift cards and Jörg’s Cafe Vienna, a downtown Plano landmark for 20 years, gave a $25 gift card to the event.
Thank you again to all the wonderful small business in and around Plano for donating gift cards to our raffle. We could not have done this without your generous support.
We are thrilled to report that the 50/50 tickets sold out of all 1,000 available tickets! The 50/50 raffle raised $770. The lucky winner took home $385. The proceeds of $385 were then matched by Pena Commercial and split between our two chosen charities.
Our first ever fundraiser had 58 entries that signed up. We were able to raise $2,075 from the sale of entry fee tickets through pre-sale registration ($30) and day of registration ($35). Pena Commercial covered the fees of $1,001.58 for the event so that all proceeds would go to charity.

We had a tie for third! Brian Linderman and Kyle Talley had a close competition and both scored a high scratch game of 252. Since Third Place was slated to take home $150 cash and Fourth Place was slated for $50, they both took home $100 cash for their tied scores.
Thank You to All that Helped!
We received cash donations both before and during our fundraiser. Steve and Teri donated $50 in cash and $40 was given by anonymous donors at the event.
Thank you to Plano Super Bowl!
First and foremost, a huge thank you goes to Plano Super Bowl. The administration staff, bartenders, servers, service crew, and kitchen personnel were an integral part of our event. Thank you to everyone at PSB!
And thanks to the Volunteers!
We had over 40 hours of volunteer service at the event. We had the support of Second Chance SPCA’s volunteers and couldn’t have had such a successful event without the help of Isabella, Cynthia, Moka, Stefany, Sinead, Sybil, Charlotte A., Kelly, Mo, Nidia, Jesus, and Charlotte M.
